For indoor forcing you can choose from Paperwhites, Hyacinths, Daffodils and Tulips.
Bulb Planting Tips

~group bulbs together to achieve masses of colour, for smaller groupings plant in numbers of 5 or 7.
~plant the lower growing bulbs like grape hyacinth in front of the higher growing bulbs like tulips.
~plan your plantings so you have a succession of blooms, starting in late winter all the way through until late spring>
~when purchasing bulbs, make sure they are firm, be sure to grab a label that will explain the proper planting depth for each particular bulb.
~It is always good practice to either work bone meal into the entire bed before planting, or sprinkle about a tablespoon into the bottom of each hole.
